A Journey of Discovery and Dedication
From an early age, Jewel was captivated by the allure of makeup and the beauty industry. She recalls fondly how she would experiment with beauty products. Her true passion blossomed when she bought her first eyelash extensions from Walmart and practiced applying them on her cousin. This early fascination laid the foundation for a career that she would pursue with unwavering determination and joy.
Initially, Jewel explored other fields, including business accounting, but it was during her foray into beauty treatments that she found her true calling. "When I started doing beauty treatments, I realized how much I loved it," she says with a smile. This realization led her to enroll in an esthetician program, where she learned everything from basic to advanced treatments, including laser procedures and body treatments.
Jewel’s journey didn’t stop at graduation. Over the past four years, she has not only perfected her skills as an eyelash artist but also trained others in the craft. Her role at ChaimsPro Medical Aesthetics as a medical aesthetician, eyelash artist, and nail artist is a testament to her diverse talents and her relentless pursuit of excellence.
Her experience working at a pharmacy has given her invaluable insights into client management and customer service, skills she brings to her current role with grace and expertise.
Dreams of Expansion and Personal Growth
Jewel’s ambition doesn’t end with her current achievements. She dreams of expanding her skills further, particularly in facials and skincare. "I want to put into practice everything I’ve learned during school and continue to grow in the beauty and wellness industry," she explains. Her ultimate dream? To create her own brand of eyelash products, combining her love for beauty with her entrepreneurial spirit.
Describing herself as having a heart of gold, Jewel is known for her positive vibes and easy-going nature. Her colleagues and clients alike appreciate her cheerful disposition and her ability to create a welcoming and pleasant environment. She’s not just a team player; she’s a natural leader who inspires those around her.
Jewel chose to join ChaimsPro Medical Aesthetics because of the opportunities it offers to expand her skills and grow in her career. "This is my dream job," she says, highlighting her enthusiasm for the services we provide and the supportive atmosphere we cultivate. She is eager to learn more about laser treatments, skincare, and facials, seeing them as stepping stones to her ultimate goal of becoming a leader in medical aesthetics.
Outside of work, Jewel leads an active and vibrant life. She loves hanging out with friends and family, traveling, trying different kinds of food, and watching movies. An enthusiastic cheerleader in her younger years, she now enjoys sports like badminton, billiards, and bowling. Balancing her professional and personal life is a challenge she embraces with a smile, embodying the "real adult life," as she humorously puts it.
Born in the Philippines and moving to Canada at 14, Jewel has embraced her new home with open arms. Canada is where her family resides, and it holds a special place in her heart as her second home.
Jewel’s approach to skincare is deeply rooted in promoting confidence and self- care. She believes in developing a deeper appreciation for skin and beauty, encouraging others to embrace their natural selves and cultivate self-love.
